Social Development department reiterates determination to strengthening SASSA financial support

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and determination to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies for the duration of an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric final exams.

On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% in the registered pupils within the instruction sector.
